He seems so composed on the red carpet in his Burberry suit for the screening of his film, Me and Orson Welles, it's hard to imagine Zac Efron experiencing an audition so bad that it brought tears to his eyes. However, the High School Musical star admits that his initial foray into acting was so unsuccessful that it brought tears to his eyes.

Zac--who co-stars in Me and Orson Welles with Claire Danes--recently explained that the worst audition for his career was for the role of Peter Pan in a live action show. At the age of 15, Efron showed up and says his audtion consisted of "running around and jumping off my chair, singing the lines."

Efron explains, "This woman interrupted me and goes 'you've never done this before have you?' and I went 'no' and she went 'okay you can go' and that was the worst audition ever, ever in my life."

Someone who can't relate is star of Precious, Gabourey Sidibe, who recently revealed on Oprah Winfrey's talk show that she snagged the critically-acclaimed movie role when she walked in to auditions on a whim. Along with Amber Rose, Hugh Dancy and Lydia Hearst all showed up at the screening to lend their support to the cast and crew of Me and Orson Welles for the event.

Determined to make the transition to pop star from reality television fixture, Heidi Montag has once again released yet another single in an attempt to do so. From the same woman who brought you such classics as "Overdosin'" and "Higher" comes "Superficial."

Yes, she's really branching out on this one, employing her favorite method of whisper-singing while she spouts "expensive" buzzwords. She laments in a breathy voice, "They say I'm superficial/They really don't know me." You know who does know her? Her soulless-mate, Spencer Pratt.

After listening to this charming little ditty, I feel as if I'm owed an apology.

Food Network star, Paula Deen, was recently doing her best to help feed those less fortunate this holiday season and what did she get as thanks for her efforts? A ham to the head.

It was while the cooking show host was in Atlanta as to participate with the Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless organization's efforts to gather donations from Smithfield that someone tossed a giant ham without giving Deen a heads up.

The 62-year-old Savannah-based chef told a local television station, "[The ham] hit me full long in the face and 'bout knocked me cuckoo, but I'm fine." Now, I know Paula is definitely one for hamming it up for the cameras, but I doubt this is what she had in mind.

The big box office that The Twilight Saga: New Moon stars earned with an impressive opening weekend will not go unsung. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have found that their $2 million salary from the original Twilight was bumped up to $12 million for the sequel New Moon. In addition, the twosome are reportedly getting a percentage of the film's profits.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, it can be assumed that the on-screen couple received an additional $12 million for their work in Eclipse and hopefully, for Breaking Dawn, they should get slightly more than that sum.

Long story short, these kids will definitely be enjoying the holiday season in style.

In a black jacket with a plunging neckline, Lady GaGa showed off some serious cleavage while she signed copies of her new album, The Fame Monster, for fans at Best Buy in Los Angeles.

And behind those impenetrable black sunglasses of hers, GaGa realized that her loyal followers might be getting an appetite, waiting in line to see the pop princess

To keep the masses from getting grumbly tummies, the singer ordered 80 cheese pizzas to be delivered from Papa Johns. She posted on Twitter, "Sending all my little monsters little pizzas for waiting all night for me at Best Buy. I hope you're hungry... eat up I love u!"

Fans waited dutifully in line for a collector's edition of the album, which each came with a personal note from the musician, a jigsaw puzzle and a lock of her hair. Talk about a personal touch...

Despite Ugly Betty's horrible time slot on Friday night, the show is experience a creative resurgence this season. Hell, I'm even enjoying Daniel's storyline. Plus, they've added the hunkalicious Adam Rodriguez to the cast, at least temporarily, and it's amazing what he can do when he's not having to analyze a crime scene.

Heartthrob Zac Efron jet sets around the globe, stars in multimillion dollar grossing films, and dates the very cute Vanessa Hudgens, but if you ask him, life is nothing but normal.

Zac told Time magazine "I'm doing the same things as my friends in college- working, studying, trying to have fun whenever possible but usually getting pulled back into work. It's really normal for the most part, other than having to talk about how it's normal."

There is nothing odd about being devastatingly good-looking, millions dollar paychecks, and people fawning over you day and night- Nope, nothing odd at all.

This very "normal" 22 year old is starring in the upcoming film Me and Orson Welles, along side Claire Danes, which hits theaters November 25th.
