Australian fans have expressed dissatisfaction with the pre-recorded aspects of Britney Spears' recent concert in Perth, which kicked off the Australian leg of her Circus tour. I would like to take this moment to express my satisfaction with her outfit here. It looks sleek, sophisticated and a hell of a lot more supportive.

Local politician, Virginia Judge, told a newspaper that concertgoers deserved more than a "Mickey Mouse performance." The offical adds, "Let's be clear--live means live. If you are spending up to 200 dollars [$182 U.S.] I think you deserve better than a film clip."

High ticket prices for pop stars are prompting U.S. government officials to consider whether or not tickets will be required to indicate whether or not a performer will be lip-syncing during the concert.

Recently engaged, Emily Blunt, was radiant in her burgundy dress on the red carpet for this year's British Academy of Film and Television Arts Britannia awards. The actress took home the prize for British artist of the year and said of her award, "To be honored with something that's so emblematic of where I'm from is really exciting."

Her co-star from The Wolfman, Benicio del Toro, was just one of many gents on the red carpet in a dapper tuxedo. Colin Firth was presented with a humanitarian award and also gets two thumbs-up from us for his impeccable ensemble.

Hollywood legends, Robert De Niro and Kirk Douglas, were also recognized with De Niro awarded the Stanley Kubrick award for excellence in film for his worldwide contribution to filmed entertainment.

Also, it would appear that the young Slumdog Millionaire real-life couple of Dev Patel and Freida Pinto are still going strong.

Now that is quite a gorgeous foursome. How interesting that Rutina Wesley, the only human among the bunch, is the one comfortable baring her teeth.

Famed Vampire Chronicles author Anne Rice is in the midst of promoting her new book, which focuses on angels. Now that the author has moved on from her bloodthirsty pursuits, she's been tuning into some vampire stories by other people. Rice admits, "I really enjoy the HBO series True Blood." When I was writing my own, I wouldn't have wanted to be influenced."

While she hasn't read any of the Twilight books, Anne did watch the movie and sounded off on it as well. She adds, "I think many girls mature much earlier than boys, and they are frustrated when they approach young boys for love or protection.  Hence the fantasy of a wise and protective vampire coming into the life of a young girl who, of course, appreciates him in a special way."

I like them both, but there's something about those vampires from the Bayou that really get me going.

Not sure if this is the case, but I'd like to take the belly on Lindsay to be a sign that she's actually eating.

Even after years of divorce, Lindsay Lohan's parents still have the energy to continue raging against one another. Now, Lindsay is claiming that her prize of a father, Michael Lohan, has threatened the life of her mother, Dina Lohan.

On Twitter, Lindsay writes of Michael, "He's a deadbeat dad. He's disgusting to do this," she adds, "he needs help." Talking about her mother, Lindsay says, "She blames herself for staying w/him for so long," however, Dina didn't leave him because Lindsay pleaded with her not to because Michael "always threatened to kill her if she did."

This revelation comes shortly after Michael released an audio recording of a phone call from a despondent Lindsay. God, these people make the Gosselins look like June and Ward Cleaver.

Courteney Cox is getting some company on Cougar Town. Former Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow will be playing "a dermatologist that my character [Cox's] can't stop going to even though [she's] mean to me."

Plus Scott Foley will be guest starring in three episodes as a homebuyer who has a love-hate relationship with series star Courteney Cox's real-estate agent character. Foley's Cougar Town run is tentatively scheduled to air in December.

Justin Timberlake will be joining Anna Faris and Dan Aykroyd in Warner Brothers' live-action/CG animated Yogi Bear. Shooting's expected to start in New Zealand next month.

Faris is in negotiations to portray a documentary filmmaker in Yogi, while Aykroyd is in negotiations to voice Yogi and Timberlake's in talks to voice Boo-Boo, Yogi's sidekick.

Meanwhile, Justin unwinds by participating in his favorite passtime - a round of golf.

The gorgeous red head known as Julianne Moore was spotted in Rockefeller Center filming a scene with 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin. Could the rumor mills be true?

Previously, Alec Baldwin told E! Online that there would be a new love interest in the works for Jack Donaghy, "I won't say who it is, but someone very near to us who may be coming on to play my girlfriend for four episodes."

According to a passerby who told the E! Online team, "During the time I saw them they were in between takes, so not really saying anything of note. They looked verrrrry chummy though! No one else from the cast appeared to be there."

The facts are there, have the stars aligned? Could Julianne Moore be the mystery girlfriend Alec Baldwin eludes to? We can only hope so! Till then, all eyes spy at Rockefeller Center to catch a glimpse of the next time these two are together filming.

Morena Baccarin, star of ABC's newest drama, V, chatted exclusively with Popeater about her role, her hair and aliens.  The Brazilian-born actress was very enthusiastic about playing Anna, a powerful leader who promises good things to the people of earth, but has other plans in store.  Anna is a lizard. Tah Dah!

"I want people to be drawn to her and to follow her in spite of themselves, but have this intuition that something is terribly wrong."

Baccarin felt that people will always be drawn to a show that explores the possibility of "visitors," and this made her want to be a part of the drama.

"I think the idea of an alien invasion is something that we will forever be fascinated by. It's very vulnerable and it's something that plays at all of our vulnerabilities and fears as humans. So I think that in itself is an amazing subject matter. And the way the show is made, I think, is so intriguing. The original was obviously relevant at the time. In the eighties. And it was a social commentary at that time. And ours definitely taps into the fear we have now, that we can't trust our neighbors. So I think that the show becomes very relevant and hits close to home, and people worry, and gravitate towards that."

Finally, the hair.  Baccarin chopped it off for the series and, quite frankly, I think she looks like Alice Cullen.  Quite pixie-ish.  In fact, the first time I saw an ad for V, I thought ABC borrowed Alice.  Oooh, can the writers do a script change and make the visitors vampires?  Please?
