The night before Kevin Federline was scheduled to host the 2DayFM radio show the following morning, the chubby ex-husband of Britney Spears became enraged by a headline on the show's website.

It read, "Hear (Federline) confess that he's not ruling out getting back together with Britney!!" Federline's publicist tells the Herald Sun, "The headline was completely out of context with the interview and Kevin is not getting back with Britney, so he said, 'F*** them, I'm not going to do their show.'"

The following morning, K-Fed simply didn't turn up at the expected 6:40 a.m. start time, leaving the hosts to cover for the failed rapper.

Let's be real--Kevin was probably busy eating an entire turkey by himself and simply couldn't be bothered.

Josh Duhamel,  Katie Holmes and Anna Paquin leave their spouses and spouse-to-be behind for a wedding and a love triangle on the Long Island set of the movie The Romantics. The three sit down to talk with Entertainment Tonight about life on the set and away from their real life significant others.

Katie, who the weekly tabloids declare is sick of Tom Cruise and has moved out, says she's been able to spend weekends with her husband. "It's been great because he's been [shooting] in Boston and it's about a half an hour flight, so we've been there on the weekends. Now Tom's in Austria shooting and we're gonna go meet him in Spain." We being her and the wee Suri Cruise who is also on location with Katie and "brings a very special sparkle to the set" according to mom. Hopefully they will stay out of the movie theaters in Spain.

Josh Duhamel, who has love scenes with both actresses jokes "It's one of the perks of the job I guess", but comments about his relationship with wife Fergie "It works. It just works." So does ignoring stories from strippers I guess.

Anna and her fiance Stephen Moyer, neither of which are American, will take the time off for Thanksgiving to go to Puerto Rico. "I think I'm going to lie on a beach and start working on my tan," says the True Blood starlet. Can you have a tan on a vampire show?

As he should!  He's had centuries of practice.

Anna Kendrick, George Clooney's costar in his most recent film Up in the Air, has spilled to People that Mr. Clooney had plenty of advice on the subject.

"He had rules for me about dating and stuff. It was really sweet," said the 24-year-old. "It's funny, actually. A friend of his that was his age [48] was dating somebody younger than me. He thought that was fine. I was like, 'What would you say to me if I were dating somebody your age?' He said, 'Oh no, absolutely not.' "

A little hypocritical George, but if anyone has the face to pull it off, it's you.  Hell, with a face like that, he could kick puppies and yell at my grammy and I'd still forgive him.

Cobra Starship fans got a special treat Tuesday night when Leighton Meester unexpectedly joined the band onstage at NYC's Nokia Theatre to sing the hit song "Good Girls Go Bad."

Gabe Saporta, Cobra Starship front man, had nothing but glowing reviews for the actress telling OK! "The girl can really sing. She's really f**king cool. And the thing is, we're kinda like bad boy rock dudes and she's a real-life celebrity. And like I don't give a f**k."

Saporta continued, "So sometimes those two worlds clash together and they don't mesh well. But with her it meshed perfectly. Like she was still very refined and very cool, but she has a sense of humor and jokes around us and has a great time."

It's great to see an actress crossover into the music industry so fluidly. Usually such an endeavor is an epic fail.

Leighton has a long road ahead of her if she wants to take the title of best actor/musician crossover of all time, which is currently held by Eddie Murphy. "Party All The Time" is a gift that keeps giving, a true gem from 1985.

During his interview on The Early Show, American Idol star, Adam Lambert, did a good job defending his American Music Awards performance, in my opinion.

The singer confessed, "I admit I did get carried away, but I don't see anything wrong with it. I do see how people got offended and that was not my intention. My intention was to interpret the lyrics of my song and have a good time with it."

When pressed by the interviewer about what he thought children viewing the show would think, Lambert said that at 11 p.m., he would assume most children would be in bed. "I think it's up to the parents to discern what their child's watching on television," he stated, when asked whether or not he should apologize.

Lambert pointed out that during her performance that same evening, Lady GaGa smashed whiskey bottles, Janet Jackson groped a male dancer and Eminem rapped about rape. Adam also noted, "Janet Jackson, crotch grab. I haven't heard one peep about that."

Also, it's not like he interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech.
